Introduction of fiber demister :
The fiber demister also known as a fiber mist eliminator or fiber bed filter, is a device used to remove fine liquid droplets or mist from a gas stream. It plays a crucial role in separating entrained liquids from process gases in a variety of industries.
The fiber demister consists of two concentric screens or parallel flat screens filled with compressed fiber pads.
Fiber demister are individually designed and manufactured with enclosures made of a variety of alloys, thermoformed plastics or fiberglass reinforced plastics.

High Efficiency:
Fiber demisters can achieve very high removal efficiencies, typically greater than 99% for droplets down to 1-2 microns in size.
The efficiency is dependent on factors like fiber diameter, bed depth, and gas velocity.
Low Pressure Drop:
The open, porous structure of the fiber bed results in a relatively low pressure drop across the demister.
This helps minimize the energy required to move the gas stream through the system.

The typical fiber demister is composed of tubular fiber bed element (size is customized according to the working condition), bracket, flange, outer cover pressure vessel and other components.
Application of fiber demister :
Fiber demister is specially used to remove various fog particles in the air stream, not only can remove large particles in the air stream (diameter > 3μm), but also very effective for removing sub-particles (diameter < 1μm). Has a certain self-cleaning ability, can achieve zero maintenance.
It can be widely used in the industrial production process to remove sub-micron liquid droplets and soluble solid particles in the gas, to protect downstream equipment, purify process gas, recover available solvents and oils, and eliminate air pollution.
